What is the UPSC photo size for 2025?

UPSC requires a square image with dimensions between 350x350 pixels and 1000x1000 pixels. The file size must be strictly between 20 KB and 300 KB.

Is the date mandatory on UPSC photos?

Yes. According to the 2025 notification, the name of the candidate and the date of the photograph must be printed at the bottom of the image.
